Cast, Crew and Connections SIBBIE O’SULLIVAN is a writer who enjoys working in multiple genres. Her poetry and fiction have appeared in a variety of publications, most recentlyin West Branch, and upcoming in Enhanced Gravity: More Fiction by Washington Area Women (May 2006). Three times the recipient of grants from the Maryland State Arts Council, Sibbie also received the l989 ArtScape Literary Arts Award presented by the city of Baltimore. Her essay “Out of the Loop” was cited as Notable Essay of the Year in Best American Essays, 200l. Her play The Body, starring Sarah Pleydell, was performed at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, MD in 2004. Other dramatic ventures include a collaboration with Re*Cher*Chez Avant-Garde Studio of New York City, and a performance of “Voices from the Straw: Poetic Monologues Referencing the Great Witch Hunts” at the District of Columbia Arts Center. ROSE SOLARI’s second book, Orpheus in the Park, was published in 2005. Her writing awards include the Randal Jarrell Poetry Prize and an Academy of American Poets’ University Prize. SARAH PLEYDELL is a London-trained actor who has played leading roles with the Oxford and Cambridge Shakespeare Company, among others, both in Europe and the United States. She and Dr. Victoria Brown co-authored The Dramatic Difference, which won the Association of Theatre Educators Award for outstanding drama book of 2000. ROBBIE ROBINSON has a background in both jazz and classical music. A New York studio musician for over l0 years, he has toured widely with various jazz groups. While in New York, he studied at Julliard and individually with such notables as Harold Bennett and George Coleman. He now teaches in the Washington.D.C metro area.
